Queen.
I miss you in the mornings.
What a year. Through it all, I’m grateful to my students… my friends for staying strong and keeping me moving. My deepest gratitude to my teachers, their families, tribes and organizations for continuing to teach me about love, commitment and loyalty. In the fragments of time, we looked at Contradas, Sinawali, Sumbrada, Koridas, Numerado, Hubad, Panantukan and sparring, connecting them, blending them and finding the through lines. Using different methods, perspectives and approaches to speak with better and more fluent movement. To everyone who reached out, my deepest thanks and appreciation.
