Guro Daniel Lonero Seminar

Flier

Lakas Filipino Martial Arts is proud to host Guro Daniel Lonero for a 2 Day seminar on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14.  Guro Daniel is a Full Instructor in Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts & Maphilindo Silat under Guro Dan Inosanto and is one of his senior students.  During my years training in Los Angeles, Guro Daniel and Guro Joel would most often be the ones to assist Guro Inosanto, and in his absence Guro Daniel would often teach class.  He instructs and trains in all of the Academy classes and is always present at events, seminars and instructor camps.  While I have many seniors in the Inosanto system that I admire and look up to, Guro Daniel has always been an instructor that has helped me in my own evolution.  As I have told many, I believe Guro Daniel is one of the best expressions of the current Inosanto curriculum as Guro Inosanto teaches it today.

Guro Daniel will be covering the Inosanto Method of Filipino Martial Arts and Jeet Kune Do Concepts.  No experience is necessary, all levels are welcome.  Recommended equipment includes gloves (bag or MMA is fine), focus mitts and any training weapons.  Cost for each day is $60, with a discounted rate of $100 for both days.  Cash will be accepted at the door, Paypal and credit cards are accepted here.

About XTMA

Cross Training Martial Arts is an international program whose goal is to promote cultural awareness and understanding by exposing students to high caliber instruction on several martial arts from around the globe. The trainings are coupled with high level physicality and theoretical paradigms, which are aimed at magnifying the depths and efficiency of each art to their full potential. The various workshops, seminars, classes and/or lectures are open to men, women, and children who are interested in a multifaceted training experience. Moreover, in the words of Guro Inosanto, “the goal here is not the mere accumulation of knowledge”, but rather the provision of research tools to learn about the art of fighting in its totality, and more importantly, to learn about one’s cultural making. Ultimately, the hope for students, and current (and future) XTMA instructors – is that of self-discovery. In an effort to better grasp the present, one must understand the past, which will in turn help him/her make better decisions for the future.
